Liz & Errol’s Elegant Fall Wedding at Beau Cheval | Middle Tennessee Wedding

Liz and Errol MacDonald were married on a cool, overcast fall day on November 1st, 2025 at Beau Cheval in Wartrace, Tennessee. Their wedding perfectly blended timeless elegance with personal, joyful moments that made the entire day unforgettable.

From the moment guests arrived, the peaceful countryside setting of Beau Cheval created the perfect backdrop. The venue sits among the rolling hills of Middle Tennessee, and the ceremony space overlooks a view that truly takes your breath away. Even with the crisp November air and cloudy skies, the atmosphere felt warm and intimate as Liz and Errol gathered with their closest friends and family to celebrate.

Getting Ready at Beau Cheval

One of the things I love most about Beau Cheval is how convenient the getting ready spaces are for couples. Everything is located on the property, which means no transportation logistics on the wedding day.

The bridal suite is spacious and bright, featuring a king-size bed, private bathrooms, and a beautiful sunroom where Liz and her bridesmaids spent the morning getting ready. Natural light poured in as they shared laughs, read letters, and prepared for the ceremony.

Meanwhile, Errol and his groomsmen got ready in the groom’s suite located downstairs. The space has darker, rustic tones and a relaxed atmosphere that gave the guys plenty of room to hang out before the celebration began.

A Meaningful Outdoor Ceremony

Liz and Errol chose not to do a first look, which made their ceremony even more emotional. When Liz walked down the aisle on her own, it was the first moment the two of them saw each other that day.

Standing in front of the rolling Tennessee hills, they exchanged personal vows surrounded by their friends and family. Their words were heartfelt and genuine, and there was hardly a dry eye in the crowd.

It was one of those ceremonies where you could truly feel the depth of their connection.

Portraits in the Tennessee Countryside

After the ceremony, we explored some of Beau Cheval’s most beautiful spots for portraits. The property offers so many scenic locations, but the open fields and views of the hills are especially stunning.

One of the most unique features of Beau Cheval is that the venue provides horses for photography. Liz and Errol took portraits alongside them in the fields, which created such a romantic and unforgettable setting for their wedding photos.

The combination of the fall landscape, soft overcast light, and the horses made these portraits feel timeless and truly representative of Tennessee.

An Elegant Black & White Wedding Design

Liz and Errol’s wedding design was classic and sophisticated. The entire wedding party wore all black, including the bridesmaids and groomsmen, creating a clean and modern look that felt effortlessly elegant.

Their florals carried the same palette with black and white arrangements that added a refined contrast throughout the day.

The design was simple, timeless, and perfectly suited to the elevated yet welcoming atmosphere of Beau Cheval.

A Reception Full of Personality

The reception took place inside Beau Cheval’s stunning glass-windowed barn. One of the best features of this space is that even while you're inside celebrating, you can still see the surrounding countryside through the large windows.

Guests enjoyed cocktail hour in the venue’s rustic outdoor space before moving inside for dinner and dancing.

Once the party started, Liz and Errol made sure their reception was full of personality. From custom trucker hats that read “With Love From Tennessee” to red feather boas and playful Vegas-inspired party details, the energy in the room was contagious.

One particularly meaningful moment was Liz’s special dance with her older sister, someone she has always looked up to. It was a beautiful addition to the traditional parent dances and a moment that meant so much to their family.

Why Couples Love Beau Cheval

As a Middle Tennessee wedding photographer, Beau Cheval is one of my favorite venues to work at.

The property is owner-operated by Beau and Gary, a husband and wife team who are incredibly hands-on and dedicated to making every wedding day run smoothly. They care deeply about both the couples and the vendors working on the day, which creates such a positive and supportive environment.

Another reason couples love Beau Cheval is that it’s an all-inclusive venue. The team helps guide couples through planning, often working within their budget and connecting them with a trusted list of preferred vendors.

From the breathtaking ceremony views to the glass-windowed reception barn, every corner of the property offers beautiful photo opportunities.

A Day Full of Joy

Liz and Errol’s wedding was especially meaningful to me because I had built a relationship with them leading up to their day. Watching them finally say their vows and celebrate with the people they love most was such an honor to capture.

Their love is full of warmth and joy, and that energy filled every moment of the day—from emotional vows to the dance floor celebration that followed.

It was truly the perfect fall wedding in the Tennessee countryside.
